Overview

We partnered with Sunco Construction to create a comprehensive visual library that documents the transformation of the Mooresville Public Library. Through intentional planning and detailed execution, we captured each space in a way that emphasizes both form and function.

By working closely with Sunco and the library team, we ensured that key features and design elements were highlighted from multiple perspectives. The final collection of 108 images provides Sunco with versatile assets for marketing, proposals, and digital use. These images reinforce Sunco’s reputation for quality work while showcasing the scale and thoughtfulness behind the renovation.

Process & Workflow

Strategy & Pre-Production

  • Collaborated with Sunco and the Mooresville Public Library team to identify:

    • Key spaces and features to highlight

    • Unique design elements and upgrades

    • Priority angles and perspectives for each area

  • Planned the shoot to take place outside of operating hours to ensure clean, distraction-free environments.

  • Created a shot list to ensure full coverage of the facility and maximize efficiency during production.

Production

  • On-Site Photography: Captured each space from multiple perspectives to showcase layout, flow, and design intent.

    • Focused on both wide architectural shots and detailed compositions to highlight craftsmanship and materials.

  • Lighting & Composition: Utilized available light and supplemental techniques to maintain a natural, balanced look.

    • Carefully framed each shot to emphasize symmetry, depth, and spatial relationships.

  • Maintained a consistent visual style across all areas of the library to create a cohesive final set.

Post-Production

  • Photographic Editing: Applied clean, consistent color correction to ensure accurate representation of materials and lighting.

  • Retouching: Removed distractions and refined details to create polished, professional final images.

  • Delivered a curated set of 108 high-resolution images ready for use across multiple platforms.
